TIMBER PRODUCTS Quality Live

In 2016, TP developed the Quality Live platform to meet the demands of the modern lumber industry.

Quality Live is a custom-built platform that offers a set of quality management tools allowing manufacturing facilities to collect and share data amongst team members in real time.

By utilizing real time data, plant efficiency is enhanced through improved response time to quality issues.   This leads to overall improved implementation of good practices through immediate reinforcement.

Depending on the lumber discipline you work in, the Quality Live platform for reports may look different, but end results are the same.  By providing customized reporting available at your fingertips, TP allows you to improve the overall control of your manufacturing processes.

The Quality Live platforms currently offered by TP are:

  • Treating Report Dashboard
  • WPM Report Dashboard

If you are ready to improve your plant efficiency through real time reporting and quality control, give us a call today!

The Treating Report Dashboard provides secure access to your plant data and can be accessed directly from the TP website.  Access to individual facilities are configured for each user through a secure login.  This can allow regional managers to have access to multiple facilities and plant personnel to have access to only their facility data.

The following tools are available to our treating subscribers:

M22 graphs and data:

  • Ability to run M22 graphs and export the data to Excel for further analysis.

M22 Status by Location Summary:

  • A simple summary report showing all the M22 production categories associated with a plant.
  • Each production category shows the inspection date, Total LCL, APCC, and Inspection Status for the most recent inspection.
  • Companies with multiple facilities can have all (or some) facilities summarized in one report.
  • Companies with a single facility will have a report showing all M22 statuses on one page.

Lab Comparison Trend Reports:

This report includes two options for comparison.

  • Option 1: IQC Sample Comparison – compare your plant QC result and TP’s lab result on IQC samples sent to TP’s lab.
  • Option 2: Inspection Sample Comparison – compare your plant QC result and TP’s lab result on charges sampled by TP during inspections.
  • Results are graphed over time to allow for an easy visual comparison.
  • The percent difference from TP’s results is calculated and graphed over the same time period.
  • A data table is also included showing the data displayed in the graphs.
  • A plant can opt into participating by providing the plant QC result when sending IQC samples in for TP lab analysis and/or by allowing their inspector to collect the plant QC result as part of their routine inspections.
